TomTom experts analyzed data from 416 major cities in 57 countries worldwide. Kyiv took 7th place with an index of 51% - this means that due to traffic jams, drivers on average spend 51% more time on their trips.

Compared to 2019, this indicator improved by 2%, but in the previous ranking Kyiv was in 12th position. It was also noted that over the past year, the capital of Ukraine had only 48 days without severe congestion.

Well, the biggest traffic jams in the world are in Moscow (54%), Indian Mumbai (53%), and the capital of Colombia, Bogota (53%). By the way, Moscow rose from sixth place to first in just one year.

In general, TomTom noted that in 2020, in 387 cities out of 416, congestion still decreased. The reason for this is the coronavirus epidemic and quarantine restrictions.
