In addition, the largest growth sectors last year were heating engineering, diagnostic equipment, power tools, and household appliances. The company believes that the demand for auto parts grew due to a decrease in the income level of Ukrainians. Thus, many decided to repair their cars, choosing quality parts to extend the service life of their vehicles, rather than buying new cars.

YUR_5560_1.jpg“We look to the future with confidence and optimism and plan to continue growth in 2016 at the level of 10-15%. We see that the economic situation is gradually improving: we already have orders for 2016 for all our products and solutions, including industrial equipment, for which there were almost no orders at the beginning of 2015, which indicates that investments are returning to Ukraine,” noted Vitaliy Bulda, General Director of Robert Bosch Ltd in Ukraine, Vice President of Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH in the Baltic and CIS countries.

YUR_5377_1.jpgIt should be noted that since February 1, 2016, Hansjürgen Overstolz has held the position of representative of the Bosch group of companies in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asia, Mongolia, and the Caucasus.

Speaking of global trends, last year among the most successful Bosch products were injection systems for gasoline and diesel engines, driver assistance systems, and infotainment systems.

One of the most important acquisitions of 2015 was the newly created American battery manufacturer Seeo Inc. Now Bosch has leading fundamental developments in the field of solid-state cells.

However, Bosch also strives to automate human housing. Thus, the goal of the Bosch strategy is to offer customers connected solutions for mobility, production, as well as energy systems and buildings. The company believes that “connectivity technologies are the key to solving future problems, such as limited resources and urbanization.” For example, electricity consumption in a building managed by an intelligent connected system can be reduced by 40 percent.

That is why, when developing the Bosch smart home system, consumer convenience was taken into account first and foremost. Thanks to a single platform, this system allows combining a variety of devices into a common network, such as heating and household appliances, entertainment systems, lighting, and alarms.

The conclusion is obvious – very soon we will witness how homes and cars “live” without human help, making life easier and allowing us to save energy and resources…
