As representatives of the Swedish company claim, their new product is the most powerful and fastest production car.
And this is not surprising, because it received an incredibly powerful setup (much more than the expected 1500 hp), which includes a 5.0-liter V8 with 1100 horsepower and three electric motors (two on the rear axle (245 hp each) and one on the shaft from the internal combustion engine (217 hp). In tandem with the power plant, the latest Koenigsegg Direct Drive Transmission works, which was designed specifically for this megacar.
The Regera accelerates to the first "hundred" in 3.2 seconds, and to 400 km/h in 20 seconds.
Among other things, the car is equipped with adjustable flaps in the front bumper and a rear spoiler, adaptive suspension and variable ground clearance, as well as carbon-ceramic brakes, traction control and stability systems, titanium exhaust and carbon fiber wheels.
In addition, using a special smartphone application, the driver will be able to partially control the car: open and close doors, change the position of the rear wing, adjust the chassis and the charging process.
Only 80 units of the model will be produced. The price of the Regera is still unknown.
