During a conversation with members of the press, Mitsubishi Motors Chief Operating Officer Trevor Mann said that the company is currently working on creating new generations of the ASX and Outlander crossovers, as well as the L200 pickup truck. However, you will have to wait for these new products to appear — their premieres are scheduled only for 2025.
In addition, the top manager mentioned that the brand's model lineup includes two more models. These are the Mitsubishi Lancer and the Mitsubishi Pajero. The brand representative did not reveal any details about the next-generation SUV, but he shared some information about the Lancer sedan.

According to information from the British publication, it is quite possible that the next generation of the Mitsubishi Lancer will turn into a compact crossover. Presumably, the new product will get an impressive and memorable appearance, styled in the spirit of the Mitsubishi e-Evolution concept, whose presentation took place a year earlier.
It is not excluded that the basis of the new production "crossover" will be the CMF platform developed by the Renault-Nissan alliance. Let us remind you that Mitsubishi recently joined this alliance. There is also data that the new-generation Lancer will receive a hybrid powertrain, but there are no details about it yet.

It is worth noting that the current generation of the Mitsubishi Lancer is still sold in a number of markets. Moreover, last year the Japanese manufacturer presented a significantly updated version of the sedan in Thailand and China, called the Mitsubishi Grand Lancer.
Additionally: according to unofficial information, the next-generation Mitsubishi L200 and Nissan Navara pickups will be created on a common platform. Such trucks will receive the proprietary Super Select 2 all-wheel drive system developed by Mitsubishi engineers.
