The first Qoros 3, produced as a sedan, has already made waves in Europe, receiving the highest safety rating. Out of 100 possible points, driver and passenger safety was rated at 95 points! In the overall standings, the Qoros 3 received 88 points in the European EuroNCAP certification.

This time, the Qoros 3 hatchback was brought to Geneva, which fully replicates its "big brother" in terms of design and safety systems, but is 177 mm shorter. The interior dimensions of the hatchback are identical to the sedan, but the trunk has become smaller and holds from 403 to 1,105 liters.

The hatchback is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine, in naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions. In the first case, its power is 126 hp and 155 Nm of torque. Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, it has a dynamics of 11.6 seconds, and with the DCT robot – 12.6 seconds.

The turbocharged version develops 156 hp and 210 Nm of torque, and is equipped only with a "robot". This modification takes 9.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. And the most economical was the naturally aspirated engine, controlled by a "robot". This version consumes an average of 6.1 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

The "basic" configuration of the Qoros 3 impressed Europeans with the range of additional options. In the most affordable version, there is multimedia with an 8-inch touchscreen, keyless entry into the cabin, anti-theft system, air conditioning, and more. Sales of the hatchback will start closer to autumn, first in China, and then in Europe.
