But unlike the German, the Vision C model is based on the MQB platform, developed for the latest generation Golf. In terms of its dimensions, the Czech concept is more comparable to the BMW Gran Coupe of the fourth series, where the body length is 4638 mm, the regular Octavia is 4659 mm, and the Vision C coupe is promised to be made even slightly longer.
The body of the new model is quite unusual for a coupe, and is positioned by Skoda as a five-door. Thus, at the rear we will see not just a trunk lid, but a full-fledged liftback door.
The powertrain lineup will be inherited by the production version from Skoda Octavia, and the new look will help give the Czech brand a bit more charm and exclusivity.
