Question from Kristina Rodionova:
When leaving Strazhesko Street onto Lepse Boulevard, you need to turn left. How should you properly enter the intersection — closer to the left edge (like the cars in the photo) or guided by the center?

Explanation from the instructors of the Karat driving school:
The roadway is mentally divided into two lanes — for oncoming and passing traffic. When turning, the main thing is not to drive into the oncoming lane. In this situation, the oncoming lane will be the far part of the road from you, marked with an orange arrow. Therefore, the correct trajectory is shown in blue.
Before crossing the main road and turning left, you must yield to those traveling on the main road.

In short: during such a maneuver, you should keep to the right side of the intersection.

By the way, earlier in the "Traffic Rules Lessons" section, we discussed how to navigate the intersection on Saperno-Slobodskaya Street.
