The new product called Lukas LK- 7900 ACE is a multifunctional device for recording video on the road. The arsenal of this camera includes a GPS module, a G-Sensor shock sensor, and compatibility with a number of additional devices. The dashcam is based on a highly sensitive Sony Exmor sensor. A distinctive feature of the LK 7900 Ace is the ability to adapt settings to a specific type of vehicle. The owner can specify in the menu which vehicle they drive: a passenger car, an SUV, or a truck. Based on this, the dashcam independently selects optimal operating parameters. This option is found only in Lukas products — competitors do not yet offer anything similar. With a compact body, the device has a wide range of functions: it supports memory cards up to 128 GB, is equipped with a Sirf III GPS logger, a motion sensor, and a G-Sensor.
Full HD recording
Thanks to the use of a modern Sony Exmor sensor, the Lukas LK- 7900 ACE dashcam is capable of producing high-quality images without additional image processing. Compared to other devices in this class, the video looks more vivid and detailed, with natural color reproduction. The camera's viewing angle reaches 135 degrees, which allows capturing the surroundings of the car. The user can choose one of the standard recording modes: Full HD with a resolution of 1920×1080 at 30 frames per second or HD with a resolution of 1280×720 at the same frame rate.
FineVu CR-500HD
The main rival of the Lukas LK- 7900 ACE is the FineVu CR-500HD model. Its key advantage is excellent recording quality in low-light conditions. Such high performance was achieved through the use of the latest Sony Exmor R sensor, which was previously used only in Sony cameras and mobile devices. The increased sensitivity of the matrix to light ensures good detail even in the dark.
Loop recording
Important events on the road often take just a few moments, so the CR-500HD records in three-minute segments. This approach allows you to quickly and effortlessly find the desired fragment.
Impressive night shooting
In the segment of dashcams focused on recording in the dark, the CR-500HD holds a leading position. It is the night shooting that distinguishes this new product from its predecessor, the CR-300HD. The manufacturer achieved such noticeable progress thanks to the aforementioned Sony sensor.
