The pickups were handed over within the framework of the UNITED24 initiative called "Safe Sky". AWT Bavaria joined this campaign last year, transferring UAH 10,315,037.
"These rugged SUVs will allow the military to respond quickly to danger and destroy enemy drones. This is fully consistent with our corporate social responsibility policy — to protect Ukraine and invest in its future. We will continue cooperation with UNITED24 in 2025 as well," said Erik Berning, who holds the position of CEO of AWT Bavaria.
Over three years of joint work, this company has directed over UAH 200,000,000 through the UNITED24 platform, supporting the state's defense and its defense potential.
INEOS Grenadier is a modern body-on-frame SUV created by the British company INEOS Automotive Ltd. Production of the model started in July 2022.
Exterior and technical content: the car was made as a successor to legendary SUVs, including the classic Land Rover Defender. The body has rectangular contours, the car sits on a steel frame and has a reinforced suspension, ensuring good off-road capability.
Powertrains: under the hood is a 3-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine from BMW. The petrol version produces 286 hp and 450 Nm of torque, while the diesel version produces 249 hp and 550 Nm.
Practicality: the Grenadier has rear doors split in a 70:30 ratio, roof rails for additional equipment, and reinforced body elements that can be used as support.
Start of sales in Ukraine
Official sales of the INEOS Grenadier on the Ukrainian market began in June 2024. Local buyers have a choice between the Grenadier 4X4 SUV and the Grenadier Quartermaster pickup. For 2024, the company planned to sell 50 vehicles, and for 2025 — twice as many, i.e., 100 units.
In November 2024, an all-Ukrainian presentation of the INEOS Grenadier brand was held, after which orders for these cars began to be accepted.
The first cars were received by customers at the beginning of 2025.
The cost of the INEOS Grenadier in Ukraine is determined by the configuration. Thus, the five-seat passenger SUV Grenadier Station Wagon is offered from UAH 4,183,631.
