The Ukrautoprom association reported that the number of registrations of new passenger cars in November decreased by 6% compared to the previous month. One of the possible reasons is the blocking of the border by Polish carriers, which led to longer delivery times for cars to Ukraine and, accordingly, increased waiting times for buyers.

“Toyota remains the leader among brands in the new car market. During the month, 854 such Japanese cars were registered. Compared to October this year, sales of new Toyotas fell by 8%, but relative to November 2022, they increased by 22%,” the report says.

Skoda took the second position in popularity, with registrations increasing by 90% year-on-year, reaching 517 units. Volkswagen took third place with 476 cars, which is 266% more than a year ago.
The top ten for November also included: Renault – 383 cars, Nissan – 309, BMW – 253, Mercedes-Benz – 222, Mazda – 189, Suzuki – 180, and Citroen – 178.
The best-selling model of the month in the new passenger car market was the Renault Duster, which received 355 registrations.

In total, for January–November 2023, Ukrainians purchased 55 thousand new passenger cars, which exceeds the figure for the same period last year by 61%.
