The maximum price jump reached UAH 32,600 per tonne in the large wholesale segment and UAH 0.28 per litre in retail. On average, prices increased by UAH 650 per tonne and UAH 0.42 per litre, respectively. These data are provided by a wholesale market monitoring conducted by the Consulting Group "A-95".

The reason for the sharp increase was European quotations, which rose by an average of $23-24 per tonne over three trading days and reached $746 per tonne.

According to "A-95", on October 18 in Korosten, the minimum price for diesel fuel was UAH 27.70 per tonne, while last Wednesday it was at UAH 27.00 per tonne. At the same time, traders revised their prices three times in one day.

The largest domestic producer "Ukrtatnafta" increased the selling price for diesel fuel by UAH 500 per tonne from October 13 to 18, bringing it to UAH 32,400 per tonne. In small wholesale, Kremenchuk raised the price of diesel fuel by UAH 0.35-0.50 per litre, to UAH 27.09-27.43 per litre, depending on delivery terms.

In the Kyiv region, over the same period, diesel fuel became more expensive by UAH 0.55 per litre, reaching UAH 27.68 per litre. Some traders decided to temporarily suspend sales, expecting further price increases.

A similar situation was observed with gasoline: on average, the small wholesale price for A-92 increased by UAH 0.16 per litre, to UAH 28.41 per litre, and for A-95, to UAH 29.13 per litre, which is UAH 0.18 per litre more than the previous figure.
