At the same time, only 28 thousand vehicles received Ukrainian registration. Owners of cars with European registration are in no hurry to register them officially. It is worth noting that in 2018-2019, cars with European license plates were registered much more actively at a reduced rate — we are talking about hundreds of thousands of units.
The money received will go to fight coronavirus and, among other things, to organize the vaccination campaign. The State Customs Service notes that the period of benefits will end on November 10, and for participants of the JFO — on February 8.
Let us clarify that the preferential registration can be used for cars older than 5 years, meeting the Euro-2 environmental standard and above, which were brought to Ukraine before December 31, 2020. One person has the right to legalize only one vehicle with European license plates.
