The craftsman used a ZAZ-968M as the base. A 2.0-liter engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox from Opel were installed on the "zhuzhik". In addition, it was equipped with hydraulics.

Inside the modified Zaporozhets, there is a racing steering wheel, a dashboard from a Daewoo Matiz, and two front leather seats from an old Ford Fiesta. The rear row had to be removed to accommodate the new engine (it is significantly larger than the "stock" one and, by the way, starts with a button).

Externally, the car draws attention with an aerodynamic body kit, which includes widened wheel arches, a front sports bumper with a mesh and a thick "lip", and a rear spoiler on the trunk lid. In addition, the car received a radiator grille and a large air intake on the trunk lid, which, however, serve a decorative function. At the rear, a straight-through exhaust catches the eye; the lighting is LED.

Overall, the exterior hints at the features of the original Ford Mustang. In particular, this applies to the design of the front part.

Photos and information about the unusual Zaporozhets were published in the Facebook group "Auto homemade, homemade auto motorcycle equipment with your own hands". In a comment to the post, the creator of the car noted that he is ready to sell it for $3,000.

By the way, earlier in Ukraine, a similar homemade ZAZ sports car was put up for sale for $1,000 (interestingly, it is also built on Opel components).
