The parade on August 24 in Kyiv promises to be very large-scale. In total, more than 400 units of military equipment will pass through the center of the capital. There were even three full rehearsals, and it was they that allowed us to see the most interesting examples of weapons.

Armored vehicles
Undoubtedly, one of the main "stars" of the parade will be the most modern Ukrainian tanks BM Oplot. T-64s, which are the backbone of Ukraine's tank forces, will also drive along Khreshchatyk.

You will also be able to see the BMP-2 with the new "Spis" module. The newest BTR-4s in several modifications (including amphibious, medical, and engineering) and improved BTR-3DAs will also be presented.

In addition, the parade will widely feature armored vehicles used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. Among them are Kozak, Varta, Novator, Otaman. Guests from the Slovak armed forces will also take part in the parade on IVECO LMV armored vehicles and Polaris buggies.
Artillery and missile systems
Another highlight of the parade will be the newest anti-ship missile system RK-360 MC "Neptune". It was only adopted into service last year.

Also brought to Kyiv are the Grad and Vilkha multiple launch rocket systems, and the Giatsint and Msta howitzers. Air defense forces will be represented by the Tor, Buk-M1, and S-300PS surface-to-air missile systems.
Automotive equipment
Of course, the parade will not be complete without off-road HMMWVs (the military version of the Hummer). They are also used as platforms for launching drones, and they will also tow the robotic combat platforms "Myslyvets".

Also worth noting are the Torsus Praetorian high-mobility buses – they are produced in Bratislava but created by Ukrainians.

The State Emergency Service will be represented, among other things, by the Ukrainian all-terrain vehicles "Bohun" from the creators of the famous Sherp.

Aviation
The aviation part of the parade is traditionally considered the most spectacular. More than fifty different aircraft will fly over Kyiv. Among them are Mi-8, Mi-14, Mi-24, EC-225, and H-145 helicopters, MiG-29 and Su-27 fighters, Su-24 bombers, Su-25 attack aircraft, and An-70 and Il-76 transport aircraft. The highlight of the program will be the giant An-225 Mriya.

Also expected are aircraft and helicopters from our European allies. In addition, the Bayraktar TB2 strike drone will be demonstrated, although it will not fly.
