It is at the beginning of next month (almost a week from now) that the specifications of the LC 300 for our market and, most importantly, the prices will be published. For now, there are no details, but some guesses do exist.
Most likely, sales of the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in Ukraine will start with the anniversary (welcome) special version 70th Anniversary. It is this SUV, by the way, that was previously seen on our roads (after the first batches of the "three-hundreds" arrived in our country). The difference of the 70th Anniversary from the regular versions is improved equipment, which includes, in particular, premium leather upholstery (even... velour is provided for simple versions), electric adjustments, heating and ventilation of all seats, a surround-view camera (of course, paired with multimedia), four-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and adaptive shock absorbers.
Under the hood of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 70th Anniversary is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine with 415 hp. This unit, by the way, is the top one for the new "Cruiser". The manufacturer decided to abandon the V8 with the change of generations.
The engine works in tandem with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The drive is permanent all-wheel drive with three differentials. The equipment list also includes disconnecting stabilizers (KDSS).
As for at least an approximate price for such an SUV, for understanding, in Kazakhstan, where sales of the model have already started, the 70th Anniversary costs from 49,500,000 tenge, which is equivalent to $116,632.
Theoretically, after the release of the "anniversary" model, other versions should debut on the market - with simplified "goodies", as well as other engines. These include, in particular, the LC 300 with a 3.3-liter turbodiesel with 309 hp and the same 10-speed automatic transmission, as well as a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated V6 with 275 hp and a 6-speed automatic transmission. However, it is possible that the importer will "roll out" all variants of the car at the same time.
Meanwhile, the new Land Cruiser 300 is also sold in Ukraine by unofficial dealers. For example, the same SUV in the 300 70th Anniversary trim is offered for purchase by one of the capital's multi-brand showrooms for $127,900. It is noted that the car is ready to be delivered to order.
