As seen in the images, the first Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in Ukraine are two black SUVs. They were captured on a car carrier in Kyiv alongside three Camrys and Prados.
However, such a rapid appearance of the "300" is not surprising: the car began production back in May (that is, earlier than its debut). Even then, the manufacturer started distributing new SUVs to its warehouses both in Japan and other countries.
The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 replaced the 200, which was produced for 14 years (from 2007 to 2020). It is one of the most anticipated cars of the decade. In terms of design and dimensions, the new model remains close to the "200", but in terms of technology, it is a completely new vehicle.
Thus, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is based on the new TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform, although it remains a body-on-frame SUV. The body is made of steel and aluminum, which allowed the structure to shed 200 kg, while becoming more rigid and gaining a lower center of gravity.
The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 can only be purchased with "sixes" – a 3.5-liter gasoline engine (415 hp) and a 3.3-liter diesel (309 hp). Both engines work in tandem with a new 10-speed automatic transmission. Drive is only permanent all-wheel drive (there are as many as three differentials (front, center, and rear).
