The Ministry of Economy has published new calculations of the average fuel cost. In particular, for gasoline, the estimated prices increased from 24.92 hryvnias to 25.82 hryvnias per liter, and for diesel – from 20.91 hryvnias to 22.09 hryvnias per liter.
It turns out that, taking into account gas station markups, the cost of gasoline will be 30.82 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel – 29.09 hryvnias.
Let us remind you that state regulation of fuel prices in Ukraine has been in effect since May 15. The retail markup is 5 hryvnias for gasoline and 7 hryvnias for diesel. Naftogaz submits cost calculations to the Ministry of Economy monthly by the 1st, 11th, and 21st.
Let us remind you that the market initially did not accept such government actions. At gas stations in Ukraine, some types of gasoline and diesel fuel even temporarily disappeared.
