Domestic production increased by 6.7% to 348.6 thousand tons compared to the same period last year. Thus, the Kremenchug oil refinery increased gasoline output by 8.6% (300.6 thousand tons), while at the Shebelinka refinery production decreased by 4% to 48 thousand tons.

The share of Ukrainian gasoline in the overall market balance was 49% versus 53% a year earlier. Gasoline imports this year increased by 30% to 362 thousand tons. In April, growth was as much as 55.3%.
As before, most fuel (85%) is supplied from Belarus. Over four months, imports increased by one and a half times to 308.8 thousand tons. Meanwhile, gasoline supplies from Lithuania in 2021 decreased by 37%.
Recall that recently a number of gas station chains in Ukraine temporarily stopped selling premium grades of gasoline. The reason was state price regulation introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers.
