This is the second part of a study by British colleagues on the topic of car liquidity: earlier they published a rating of the TOP-10 most depreciating cars. The rating includes those cars that retain only 1/3 of their value. You can read more about it here https://autoportal.ua/news/analytics/37731.html .

The study is based on data on value retention after three years of ownership (from the moment of buying a new car at a dealership). At the same time, those cars that had driven 60,000 km (that is, with an annual mileage of 20,000 km) were taken into account.

So, here is what this TOP looks like:

Which cars lose the least in price

10. Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

Price of a new car: 71,110 pounds, sale after three years: 40,925 pounds, loss of value: 30,185 pounds, remainder of the original price – 57.6%.

As we can see, this rating is relevant specifically for the UK, and it has little in common with Ukraine – in our country, the most liquid cars are budget models such as Renault Logan, Duster, Nissan Qashqai, Kia Sportage. But it is always interesting to see how things are going “for others”, right? However, even in Ukraine, most of the cars presented above retain their value quite well (not excellently, but well), so to some extent this study can be taken into account by domestic buyers/sellers.
