Of course, a year ago, due to quarantine, many factories stopped production. But, as the Ukrautoprom association reports, compared to March of this year, the increase is also significant – 33.2%.
In particular, 904 passenger cars were assembled – 35.9% more than in March. ZAZ became the leader in the results of the past month – 472 cars and a growth of 47.5%. The second place goes to the Transcarpathian Eurocar – 432 cars (+25.2%).
Also, 56 buses were produced, with the most at the Cherkasy and Chernihiv plants. In total, over four months of 2021, Ukraine produced 2791 vehicles – 96% more than in the same period last year. Of these, 2594 are passenger cars.
