To be more precise, in the first quarter of 2021, crossovers and SUVs accounted for 62% of all new cars sold, according to Auto.Ria. For comparison, among used cars their share is only 20%.
Moreover, the leaders of the car market are exactly crossovers. The most popular cars in Ukraine are Toyota RAV4 (1,478 cars sold), Renault Duster (1,250) and Kia Sportage (1,179).
If we talk specifically about the SUV segment, then Nissan Qashqai (652 units), Hyundai Tucson (532) and Volkswagen Touareg (521) were also in demand. The TOP-10 most popular crossovers and SUVs in Ukraine for 2021 looks like this:
- Toyota RAV4 – 1,478 cars sold;
- Renault Duster – 1,250;
- Kia Sportage – 1,179;
