According to the Ukrautoprom association, this is 27% more than in February and as much as 87% higher than the figure for March last year. However, it should be noted that a year ago, the registration of used cars was prohibited during the lockdown.

By the way, sales of new cars in Ukraine also grew significantly in March, but they are bought four times less than used ones. Second-hand cars currently account for 79.5% of the Ukrainian car market.

The most popular used cars in Ukraine for March have also been named:

  1. Volkswagen – 5.7 thousand units;
  2. Ford – 3.2 thousand;
  3. Renault – 2.9 thousand;
  4. Skoda – 2.8 thousand;
  5. Hyundai – 2.4 thousand.

In total, in the first quarter of 2021, 87.7 thousand used cars underwent their first registration – 10% more than a year earlier.
