The new Peugeot 208 has grown to 4055 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2540 mm. The hatchback is built on the modern CMP modular platform, like the 2008 crossover, which was tested by Autoportal.

The Peugeot 208 features expressive design with a huge radiator grille and characteristic LED "fangs" at the front. The interior is styled in i-Cockpit fashion: the steering wheel is small, and the virtual instrument cluster (with three-dimensional graphics) is mounted high. A large 10-inch touchscreen is available for an extra charge.

The model launches in Ukraine with two 1.2-liter petrol engines – a naturally aspirated 75-hp and a turbocharged 130-hp. The more powerful version accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds and reaches 208 km/h.

The base trim Peugeot 208 Active Pack includes 6 airbags, ESP, air conditioning, parking sensors, LED headlights, and heated seats. The more expensive Allure Pack is available only in the 130-hp version and adds keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, a rearview camera, and wireless smartphone charging.
