Such a rapid drop in demand for electric vehicles in Ukraine can be explained by the January lockdown. However, the share of new electric cars increased to 10% compared to 6% in 2020. 469 passenger electric cars and 33 commercial ones were registered.
In the passenger segment, for the first time in many years, the leader changed – the Chevrolet Bolt found 133 buyers, and this helped to displace the Nissan Leaf (107 cars) from first place. Among commercial models, the Renault Kangoo Z.E. dominates (26 units).
