The Ministry of Internal Affairs proposes to allow concluding a vehicle purchase and sale agreement electronically – using the 'Driver's Electronic Cabinet' service. That is, the personal presence of the buyer and seller at the authority for receiving the service will not be required.
Also, the draft resolution will change the procedure for taking driving license exams. In particular, the validity period of the theoretical exam results will be increased from three months to two years. By the way, in case of passing the practical part on a car with automatic transmission, a corresponding mark will be made in the license.
They also plan to simplify the procedure for submitting documents to confirm driving experience – there will be no need to provide a certificate from the place of work or an extract from the employment record book. In addition, the requirements for driving experience when opening a new license category have been canceled.
