The world premiere of the new generation Highlander in the US market took place back in the spring of last year, but the European version of the model was presented quite recently – in early May.
The "fourth" Highlander has moved to the new TNGA GA-K platform and has also noticeably transformed in appearance. In the US, the Highlander is offered in two modifications: a hybrid with a 2.5 engine and an electric motor, and a purely petrol version with a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 295 hp.
In Europe, the Highlander will be available exclusively in hybrid form, while in Ukraine the crossover will arrive in the specification for the Russian market with a six-cylinder engine derated to 249 hp, an 8-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring technology.
Ukrainian prices for the new Highlander start from 1,358,749 UAH for a very well-equipped Elegance version. The top Premium trim with a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, and 20-inch wheels will cost 1,647,251 UAH.
