Ukrainian car plants are loaded at less than 2%

In December, passenger car production increased by 119%, reaching 432 units. As in the previous year, all statistics on passenger cars are still formed by large-knockdown assembly at the Eurocar enterprise. At the same time, compared to November, car production in the village of Solomonovo decreased by 2%.

Bus production increased by 38% and amounted to 105 units.

The leader in bus production, as before, remained Cherkasy Bus — 60 vehicles. Chernihiv Automobile Plant produced 28 buses, Chasovoyarsk Plant — 11, and ZAZ — 6 units.

For commercial vehicles, only PAT Cherkasy Bus provided a report, where 20 vehicles were assembled in December.

Overall, in 2019, Ukraine manufactured 7,265 units of motor vehicles, which is 10% more than in the previous year.

Passenger cars — 6,254 units (+11%);

Commercial vehicles — 136 units (+3%);

Buses — 875 units (+5% compared to the same period last year).

Despite the slight positive dynamics, the utilization of production capacities created in Ukraine did not exceed two percent last year.
