Compared to the same period last year, interest in electric vehicles has increased by 53 percent.
But the lion's share of this market — 91 percent — was made up of used examples, not new cars.
Among passenger cars, the undisputed favorite remains the Nissan Leaf. From January to July, 1,899 such cars were transferred to Ukrainian plates.
In second place is the Tesla Model S, which gathered 318 registrations.
The top three is closed by the electric modification of the BMW i3 — it was chosen by 216 owners.
Fourth place went to the Fiat 500e, which 178 Ukrainians opted for.
The fifth spot was shared by two models — the Renault Zoe and the Volkswagen E-Golf, each finding 154 buyers.
In the commercial vehicle segment, the Renault Kangoo Z.E. holds the lead — it was registered 272 times over seven months.
