In June, passenger car production fell by 15%, amounting to 504 units. As in the previous year, all statistics for this segment are still provided by large-knockdown assembly at the Eurocar enterprise.
Bus output decreased by 29% to 55 units.
The leader among bus manufacturers was again Cherkasy Bus, which produced 30 vehicles. At the Chasovoyarsk plant, 13 buses were assembled, Chernihiv Automobile Plant — 8, and ZAZ produced 4 units.
Data on commercial vehicle production in Ukraine for the past month were not published.
Since the beginning of the year, the country has manufactured 2,949 units of motor vehicles, which is 24% less compared to the first half of the previous year.
Passenger cars — 2,532 units (a decrease of 24%);
Commercial vehicles — 21 units (a drop of 81%);
Buses — 396 units (1 more than in the same period last year).
