The market for used electric commercial vehicles in May was represented only by foreign models, and the choice was small. The majority were Renault Kangoo Z.E. electric cars — 31 units were registered. The other two vehicles were Nissan e-NV200.
At the same time, among passenger electric cars there were also new examples, but their number did not exceed 86 units. The main share — 524 cars — was occupied by used vehicles.
The leader in popularity among Ukrainian drivers remains the Nissan Leaf. Last month, 329 such cars were registered.
The second place was taken by the Tesla Model S — 53 car owners chose this model.
The top five most sought-after zero-emission vehicles in May also included: BMW i3 — 46 units; Fiat 500e — 24 units; Renault Zoe — 23 units.
Overall, from January to May, 2,381 passenger and 176 commercial electric vehicles were imported and registered in Ukraine. This is 64% and 209% more compared to the same period last year.
