Last month, the leader in primary registrations in the Ukrainian market for new commercial vehicles was the Renault brand, which accounted for 18% of all registered cars. In May, dealers sold 203 vehicles of this brand, which is 7% less than in the same period last year.
The second position was taken by Fiat, with sales of 112 units. This result was 12% higher than a year ago.
The top three is closed by Peugeot: demand for cars of the French brand grew 2.5 times and reached 84 vehicles.
The fourth place was shared by Ford and MAN, each selling 79 vehicles. At the same time, MAN increased sales by 5%, while Ford's registrations, on the contrary, dropped by 19% compared to May 2018.
Citroen closes the top five most popular brands — 76 vehicles of this brand received license plates, which is 153% more than last year.
Overall, in the first five months of the current year, 4.5 thousand new commercial vehicles were registered in the country, which is almost 12% less than in the same period a year earlier.
