The passenger car segment of the domestic automotive industry ended the month with a sales collapse of more than 87% compared to April 2018 – only 79 cars in total. All statistics on passenger cars were again limited to large-knockdown assembly at Eurocar in Transcarpathia.
Truck production in April (excluding AutoKrAZ, which has not published data on its production since August 2016) amounted to only one vehicle – that is 83% less than last year.
Bus production, however, grew by only 5 units – to 59 units.
Since the beginning of the year, 1,880 vehicles have been assembled in Ukraine, which is 31.4% less than the figure for the same period last year.
Passenger cars – 1,587 units (minus 33.4%);
Commercial vehicles – 15 units (minus 85.1%);
Buses – 278 units (plus 9%).
