Car production in Ukraine decreased by more than 50%

The passenger car segment of the domestic automotive industry ended the month with a reduction of more than half compared to February 2018. At the same time, all statistics on passenger cars were again limited exclusively to large-knockdown assembly at the Transcarpathian plant "Eurocar".

Truck production in February (excluding AutoKrAZ, which stopped publishing data on its production back in August 2016) amounted to only 5 units — this is 7 times less than in the same period last year.

Bus production fell by 11%, stopping at 71 units.

In the first two months of the year, Ukraine produced a total of 1,207 vehicles, which is 7% less than in January-February of last year.

Passenger cars — 1,066 units (-2%);

Commercial vehicles — 10 units (-85%);

Buses — 131 units (-6%).
