The open-top version of the Aventador SVR features a carbon fiber roof that can be folded using eccentric levers in the cabin and stowed in a compartment located in the front trunk. Due to this design, the supercar has become 50 kg heavier and now weighs 1575 kg.
The roadster is powered by the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, which produces 770 hp and 720 Nm of torque. The powertrain is paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
The supercar accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and to 200 km/h in 8.8 seconds. The top speed of the model exceeds 350 km/h.
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is equipped with active aerodynamic elements made of carbon fiber and a power-operated rear window that is designed to enhance the engine sound with the top down.
The production run of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster will be 800 units. The price of the model has not been announced yet. For comparison, in the US, the Aventador SVJ coupe costs at least $574,000.
