According to A. Kuyun, significant warehouse stocks are holding back the fall of retail prices. Those companies that have already managed to replenish their stocks will soon begin to reduce prices more actively. At first, this will happen under the guise of promotions and discount programs on cards, and then directly on price tags.

Market participants say that due to the weather, the process of price reduction will be slower. In most areas of Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions, snowfall complicates the movement of gas carriers, causing a fuel shortage at gas stations.

Maksym Berezhnyi, commercial director of TD "Avtotrans Oil", noted: under normal conditions, one could expect a price drop of 60–70 kopecks before the New Year, but due to snow-covered roads, the company is forced to stop selling autogas at a number of stations, and at the rest it predicts a decrease of only 20–30 kopecks.

Since the end of November, retail prices for autogas have fallen by 2.5 UAH/l, that is, by almost 15%. The cost of gas at gas stations is decreasing following the collapse of the wholesale market, which has been ongoing since the end of October. In wholesale, fuel has become cheaper by 9,960 UAH/t, which is 36%.
