Thus, as the period of reduced excise duties on the import of used passenger cars approaches its end, their share in the market of new registrations in Ukraine amounted to 62%.
Compared to October last year, the number of used cars registered for the first time increased by 2.2 times.
Among the leaders of the primary market for used cars, Volkswagen is still in the lead. During the reporting month, Ukrainian citizens registered 1,967 such imported cars of this brand.
The second position is held by Renault — 1,539 used cars.
The third place belongs to Škoda with 1,122 used cars.
In fourth place remains Ford, which was chosen by 814 Ukrainians.
The top five of the October primary market for used passenger cars is closed by Nissan — 672 cars.
In total, from January to October, 83.9 thousand passenger cars previously used abroad received Ukrainian registration, which is 90% more than in the same period a year earlier.
The most popular used car both in the past month and over the entire period since the beginning of the year remains Renault Megane. In October, 1,048 people chose this model, and over ten months — 8,476 drivers.
