Last month, positive dynamics, and only thanks to a very low comparison base, were shown by only two manufacturers: the Cherkasy bus plant, which increased output by 19%, and the Chernihiv automobile plant with a growth of 31%. In September, they produced 43 and 21 units of equipment respectively.
In the passenger car segment of the domestic auto industry, only one enterprise is still active — Eurocar. During the month, 476 cars were assembled here using the SKD method, which is 8% less than in the same month a year earlier. Overall, passenger car production in Ukraine compared to September 2017 decreased by 31%.
Truck production last month (excluding AutoKrAZ, which has not published data on its own production since August 2016) was limited to three units — this is 20 times less than last year's figure.
Bus production decreased by 3% and reached 71 units.
In total, from January to September, Ukraine manufactured 5,094 units of motor vehicles, which is 11% less than in the same period last year.
