Compared to June of this year, the decline was 67%.
The reason for this decline was a significant reduction in semi-knocked-down assembly at the Eurocar plant, the only enterprise that produces passenger cars in Ukraine this year. In Solomonovo, only 150 cars were assembled in a month, which is half as many as last year and almost four times fewer than in June.
Truck production last month was limited to five units, which is ten times less than the figure of a year ago. It is worth noting that the statistics do not take into account KrAZ, which since August 2016, for unknown reasons, has not published data on its production volumes.
Bus manufacturers produced 66 vehicles in a month, which is 8 more than in July 2017, but 11 fewer than in June.
Since the beginning of the year, 4,074 vehicles have been manufactured in Ukraine, which is 1.4% less than in the same period last year.
