Series production of the updated HR-V has already started, and the price of the new model will be announced a little later.
The crossover has changed front and rear bumpers, a new radiator grille, 17-inch wheels and slightly updated optics. At the rear, the lights now have a chrome trim. The body color palette includes eight options, among which is a new shade Midnight Blue Beam Metallic. Inside, different seats and an improved audio system are installed. In addition, specialists have noticeably worked on the level of sound insulation of the Honda HR-V.
Under the hood will remain the same 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with 130 hp, which is paired with a manual or automatic transmission. The sprint to 100 km/h for this version takes 10.7 seconds.
Next spring, the lineup will be supplemented by a 1.5-liter gasoline VTEC TURBO engine, the exact characteristics of which are still kept secret. A similar engine is known from the CR-V, where it produces 175 hp. Also, a 1.6-liter diesel will appear in the lineup.
A month ago, Honda already updated the HR-V for the North American market. There, the model received a refined CVT, an improved all-wheel drive system, an electric power steering and additional sound insulation. In addition, the crossover for the first time got the Honda Sensing safety suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, collision warning system and lane keeping assist.
