In the first seven months of 2018, 46.2 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine. This is 6% more than in the same period last year.
In the ranking of the most popular brands for January-July, TOYOTA leads — demand for these cars amounted to 5,706 units, which is 17% higher than last year's figure. Next come Renault with 4,564 cars (minus 3% compared to last year), Volkswagen — 4,126 units (plus 36%), Skoda — 3,016 (plus 4%), Nissan — 2,868 (plus 21%), Hyundai — 2,843 (plus 22%), KIA — 2,250 (minus 28%), Audi — 2,101 (plus 73%), Ford — 1,886 (minus 7%) and Mazda — 1,749 (plus 25%).
Among specific models, the top ten bestsellers looks like this:
Renault Duster — 1,740 units.
Toyota RAV-4 — 1,567 units.
Toyota Camry — 1,438 units.
Audi A3 — 1,367 units.
Volkswagen Golf — 1,349 units.
Hyundai Tucson — 1,276 units.
Renault Logan — 1,225 units.
Kia Sportage — 1,209 units.
Skoda Octavia — 1,178 units.
Volkswagen Polo — 1,144 units.
