The main source of satisfying this demand was the import of used cars, which accounted for 85% of all primary registrations.

The leader among electric vehicles in Ukraine remains the Nissan Leaf — from January to June, 1282 owners chose this model.

The second place was taken by the BMW i3 with a figure ten times lower than the leader — 129 drivers preferred it.

Tesla Model S was in third place with 95 registrations over the six months.

The fourth position is held by the Mercedes-Benz B Electric Drive, chosen by 57 buyers.

The top five is rounded out by the electric Smart Fortwo — 50 units.

The top ten most sought-after electric cars on the primary market for the half-year also included: Tesla Model X — 46 units, Kia Soul EV — 37 units, Toyota RAV-4 EV — 33 units, Volkswagen e-Golf — 31 units, as well as the Fiat 500e and Hyundai Ioniq, which shared a place with an equal number of 26 cars.
