Sales of new cars in June decreased by 4.8% compared to May, and compared to June 2017, the figure fell by 5.4%.
Toyota continues to hold the market leadership. Last month, dealers sold 745 cars of this Japanese brand — this is almost a repetition of the result of a year ago, when sales were less by only three cars.
The second position is occupied by Renault with 673 registrations. At the same time, demand for this brand decreased by 9% compared to June last year.
Skoda, as a year ago, took third place: 513 new cars and a drop of 7% to June 2017.
The fourth place, as in June 2017, belongs to KIA — 454 cars, which is 9.6% less.
Volkswagen closes the top five: in the reporting month, 436 buyers chose this brand, showing a growth of 10%.
The TOP-10 of the June new car market also included:
Hyundai — 424 units (+24%); Nissan — 366 units (-5%); Ford — 324 units (+4%); Peugeot — 275 units (+88%); Mercedes-Benz — 237 units (-9%).
The best-selling car of the month, for the first time in six months, again became the KIA Sportage — 251 buyers made their choice in its favor.
