Among all cars with electric motors first registered in Ukraine, the majority were used cars. If last year they accounted for 81%, now this figure has risen to 85%.

As before, Nissan Leaf remains the leader in popularity — this model accounted for 69% of the entire primary electric vehicle market. In the first four months of the year, 723 such cars passed Ukrainian registration, but only 52 of them were new.

The second position is occupied by BMW i3. 58 drivers chose this electric vehicle, with 19 of them opting for a new car.

The third place in the Ukrainian ranking of electric cars was taken by Tesla Model S — 52 people became its owners, and only 18 purchased a car without mileage.

The top five leaders for the reporting period also included Mercedes-Benz B with 36 cars (8 new and 28 used) and Smart Fortwo Electric Drive — 32 units, all of which were used.
