The leader in popularity among new cars in Ukraine is the model of the German brand Volkswagen – Golf. In the first four months of this year, 1,276 buyers chose this car, with a significant portion of such cars previously not sold in the US due to the diesel engine scandal.
The second place in the ranking was taken by the Audi A3, also associated with "dieselgate" – 1,014 registrations were issued for it.
The top three is closed by the Toyota RAV-4, which was purchased by 985 Ukrainians during the specified period.
The fourth position is occupied by the Renault Duster with 968 sold units.
The top five most popular models is completed by the Toyota Camry – over four months, 861 people became its owners.
In addition, the following models made it into the top ten best-selling new passenger cars:
Hyundai Tucson – 670 units;
Ravon R2 – 647 units;
Nissan Qashqai – 626 units;
Renault Logan – 602 units;
Skoda Octavia – 601 units.
