This engine works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In this combination, the car consumes on average about five liters of fuel per every hundred kilometers. From a standstill to 100 km/h, the hatchback accelerates in 7.9 seconds.

In Europe, sales of the BMW 6 Series GT with this diesel will start in July. The manufacturer has not yet announced the price of the car.
