The leader at the start of 2018 was the Japanese brand Toyota. It has 941 units of new cars sold on the Ukrainian market. Compared to January last year, demand for Toyotas grew by 91 percent.

The second position in the market belongs to Renault – 589 units. Relative to the result of a year ago, sales of cars of this French brand increased by 21 percent.

In third place is Volkswagen. In January, 576 Ukrainians became owners of new Volkswagens (+30% to Jan.17).

With a sales growth of 56%, Nissan became the fourth most popular brand in Ukraine, with 447 buyers choosing its cars.

Skoda closes the top five of the month – 438 units (+55%).

Also in the TOP-10 of January were: Mazda – 321 units (+84%); KIA – 312 units (+2%); Ravon – 306 units (+212%); Audi – 286 units (+175%) and Suzuki – 277 units (+147%).

The car of the month was the Volkswagen Golf, with 318 motorists choosing it in January.
