In the primary electric vehicle market, the bulk consists of used cars — 86%, whereas last year this figure was 42%.

The most active buyers of electric cars were Kyiv residents. During January–October, 528 such vehicles were registered in the capital.

The second position is held by Kharkiv region, where 406 'green' vehicles were registered.

The third place in the ranking of regions by the number of electric cars registered this year went to Odesa region — local residents bought 405 electric-powered cars.

The most sought-after model among Ukrainians remains the Nissan Leaf — 1855 drivers chose it. However, almost all such cars entered the country with considerable mileage.

The second most popular was the BMW i3 — 79 units.

The top three is rounded out by the Tesla Model S with 56 units.

The top five also included the Ford Focus — 54 cars and the Fiat 500 — 30 units.
