The jury of the Car of the Year competition has selected seven finalists who will compete for the honorary title of "Car of the Year in Europe".
The final list includes the following models: Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Audi A8, BMW 5 Series, Citroen C3 Aircross, Kia Stinger, Seat Ibiza and Volvo XC40.
The jury, consisting of 60 journalists from 23 European countries (Ukraine does not participate), will announce its final verdict on March 5 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Last year's winner of the competition was for the first time a crossover – Peugeot 3008.
