Compared to October last year, the number of first registrations of used cars increased by 78 percent. The share of used cars on the market in October was 42 percent.

Among the leaders of the primary used car market is Volkswagen, which showed a result of 977 first registrations, which equals 55% of all cars of this brand registered in October. Renault dropped to the second place — 945 cars were registered, or 59% of the brand's total sales. The third place remained with Skoda (649 units). The share of used cars in October registrations of this Czech brand rose to 55 percent. Opel retains the fourth position in the ranking with 426 used cars, which is 93% of the brand's primary registrations last month. Nissan closes the top five — 283 used cars received Ukrainian license plates, or 45% of the brand's total sales.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 44 thousand imported used passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine. This is 4.5 times more than in the first ten months of 2016.
