Dutch company Holthausen Group offered Tesla Model S owners to convert their cars to hydrogen.
Installing a hydrogen power plant based on fuel cells for this electric car will cost 50 thousand euros. The company stated that there are already several interested buyers.
The engineers also came up with a name for the hydrogen version of Tesla — Hesla. As the project authors note, replacing batteries with hydrogen cells will increase the driving range from 500–600 kilometers to 1,000.
So far, the Dutch are not sharing the technical details of their new product.
